General Rules and Regulations
No bags, hats, or carriers allowed; use pigeon holes at the entrance.
Submit all books and materials for checking when leaving the library.
Maintain silence; avoid disturbing others.
Leave consulted books on tables, do not return to shelves.
No book may be removed without completing a loan form and checking it out.
Care for Books/Keeping a Hygienic Library Environment
No food, drink, or liquids allowed in the library.
Do not write, mark, fold, or damage library materials.
Report any defects in books to library staff.
Tracing pictures from books is prohibited.
Borrowers are responsible for any damage to books.
Report lost books immediately.
Eating, drinking, smoking, and the use of naked light are forbidden.
No pets allowed in the library.
Lending and Borrowing Services
Students: Borrow up to 3 books for 2 weeks (renewable once).
Lecturers: Borrow up to 8 books per semester.
Part-time lecturers: Borrow up to 3 books per semester.
Administrative staff: Borrow up to 4 books per semester (renewable once).
Books may be recalled after 7 days if needed by the library.
Offences and Sanctions
Failure to return books on time: Daily fines, possible loss of borrowing rights.
Failure to return recalled books: Loss of borrowing rights for one semester.
Loss of books: Pay twice the current price plus service charges.
Stealing books/periodicals: Handed over to university authorities.
Mutilation of books: Pay for the book and lose borrowing rights for two semesters.
